HubSpot for Startups is a lifesaver!

Getting 90% off for the first year through the HubSpot for Startups program was incredibly helpful for my small business. The platform's Campaign Management tools are robust and surprisingly intuitive, making it easy to set up and track our marketing efforts. I had a quick question about upgrading my plan and the support team was very responsive, guiding me through the process in under 10 minutes. The only minor inconvenience was finding the exact discount application, but it was automatically applied at checkout as promised. Overall, a really solid investment for growing companies.

Good basic CRM tools

I used the Free CRM for my small business. It was easy to set up. Managed my contacts and basic sales pipeline without issues. Does what it says.

Super easy to get started

So I needed something for email marketing and saw HubSpot's free tools. Figured I'd try it out. Setting up the email campaigns was pretty straightforward, honestly. I'm not super techy but it made sense. Felt pretty good about it, got my first newsletter out quickly. No complaints from my side.

Great value with the startup discount

As a new startup, every dollar counts. I managed to get the HubSpot for Startups discount on the Marketing Hub Starter plan. The price was fantastic, much lower than anything else comparable out there. It felt like a really good deal for what we got. The features like email marketing and landing page builder are exactly what we needed to get off the ground without breaking the bank. Definitely worth it for the savings.

Comprehensive features, good support

I upgraded our company to the Marketing Hub Enterprise. The ordering process was handled by a sales rep who walked me through the features and pricing very clearly. Access to the platform was instant after purchase. I've been using the ABM Tools and the multi-touch attribution reports extensively; they provide deep insights. We also integrated it with our existing WordPress site seamlessly. Had a small issue with some custom objects, and the online chat support team responded within minutes and helped resolve it quickly. The platform has a lot of moving parts, but the documentation and support make it manageable. Definitely a powerful system for larger teams.

Mostly good, some quirks

I purchased the Service Hub Professional plan. The ticketing system and knowledge base features are robust and really helped my team. Delivery was immediate since it's software. Customer support was helpful when I had a question about custom properties. My main gripe is the reporting dashboards can be a bit overwhelming to customize at first, definitely a learning curve there. Overall, it's a solid platform for the price.

Consistent service every time

This isn't my first time with HubSpot. I've used their Marketing Hub for years, and just added the Sales Hub this order. As always, the onboarding was smooth, and the tools integrate perfectly. They're reliable, which is why I keep coming back for more features when I need them. Never had a bad experience.

Does HubSpot do monthly billing for their paid plans or is it all annual commitments?

A Anna 1 month ago
They do offer monthly billing, but it's usually more expensive. You get a pretty good discount if you pay annually.

I pay monthly for my sales hub, it's an option. But I think I saw somewhere it's like 10-20% cheaper if you go for the yearly plan.

Hey guys, wondering if HubSpot CRM is actually free forever, or if it's like a trial that eventually forces you to pay?

K Kevin 2 months ago
Yeah, the basic CRM is genuinely free. You can use it as long as you want without paying.

J Josh Z. 2 months ago
It's free for core CRM functions. But if you want the more advanced stuff like marketing automation or sales tools, that's when you start paying for the 'Hubs'. But the CRM itself, totally free.

Anyone know how to get the startup discount? My company just launched and 90% off would be huge.

M Mark M. 1 month ago
You usually apply through their 'HubSpot for Startups' program. Check their website, it's pretty clear about the eligibility requirements.

M Mia Z. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's not a promo code you just type in. You have to go through their startup program application, they verify if you're legit. If you qualify, they apply the discount directly.

quick question, what are 'marketing contacts' in HubSpot? Does that mean every contact in my CRM costs money?

D Dana 2 months ago
No, not all contacts. Marketing contacts are the ones you actively market to, like sending emails or using them in campaigns. The others are just stored in your CRM for free.

A Alex C. 2 months ago
It's basically a tier system. You pay based on how many contacts you're actually sending marketing emails to or running ads against. You can have thousands of non-marketing contacts in your CRM for free.

Thinking of switching from Salesforce, is HubSpot's sales hub comparable? Heard good things but worried about the learning curve.

N Neil Marsh 2 months ago
I moved from Salesforce to HubSpot last year. It's definitely easier to get started with HubSpot, feels a lot more intuitive. Salesforce had way too much going on for us.

C Cody R. 2 months ago
Depends on your needs honestly. HubSpot is great for small to mid-sized businesses, less overwhelming. Salesforce can do more but it's a beast to manage. Learning curve on HubSpot is way lower, they have tons of free training stuff too.
